Peer review

The journal Qualestoria applies a double-blind peer review process to the articles in its Monographic Section and in "Studi e ricerche" (Studies and Research) Section. Articles are first subjected to an internal evaluation by the editorial board or the editors of the monographic issue. If the contributions are deemed to meet the scholarly standards required for academic publication, they are then sent for evaluation to two external referees who are not part of the editorial board. In cases where the evaluations of the two referees differ significantly, the editorial board or the editors of the monographic issue—if they deem it appropriate—may decide to seek the assessment of a third reviewer.
